Innovation meets pharma industry at Connect in Pharma
Innovation meets pharma industry at connect in pharma | The very first edition of Connect in Pharma has just ended. The event gathered the main actors of the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. During these two intense days, visitors were able to discover the latest innovations in terms of packaging, processes, and other areas essential to the industry. “I had the pleasure of meeting machine and packaging manufacturers along the entire supply chain. Connect in Pharma presented sustainability through interesting packaging solutions. I was inspired by new trends in the market, including innovations in pharmaceuticals and medical devices,” says Elena Obrecht, Maintenance Manager at Johnson & Johnson.
The two days were also an opportunity to attend a conference program with very high quality content. The interventions of Tiffany McIntire (Principal Human Factors Engineer at Roche), Pascal TORREGROSSA (Head of Manufacturing Operations at Lonza), Dr. Reza ABEDIAN (Senior Medical Affairs Manager at Gerresheimer), and Anna SAVELEVA (Chief Marketing Officer at Haemopharm) were particularly well appreciated. They notably raised instructive exchanges between the speakers and the audience. Dr. Abedian said: “When I saw the exhibition area, I was quite impressed. The lectures were integrated into the exhibit area. Because they were at one end of the event, it allowed for the peace and quiet needed to make a presentation, but people could also stop and listen as they passed“.
But Connect in Pharma is also about philanthropy. To raise awareness of rare diseases, the event actually hosted a Days of Rare photography exhibit by Ceridwen Hughes and SbD Creative. In addition, Easyfairs will donate 5 CHF for every visitor who attended the event.
Connect in Pharma was a real success. Delta Insight is proud to have been a partner of this event. We look forward to the next edition, still in Geneva, on June 14th & 15th, 2023.
